Guy Daniel Gautreau, 45, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2003, after a long and courageous battle with throat cancer.

Born on April 13, 1957, he was the son of the late Blair Gautreau and the late Hermine Gautreau. Before being diagnosed with cancer, he was employed as a courier driver for L & S Courier Inc. His wonderful sense of humour and his infectious smile will be remembered forever by those who knew and loved him. His willingness to lend a hand to those in need will never be forgotten.

He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family and countless friends. He is survived by his wife, Pauline (LeBlanc) Gautreau; as well as two step-daugthers, Lynn LeBlanc and Lisa LeBlanc. He also leaves behind his sister, Fernande (Donald) LeBlanc; his niece Mélanie and his nephew René all of Gautreau Village, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home, with the Funeral Mass to be held in Pré-d'en-Haut, Memramcook, NB at the Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church on Monday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. Following the Funeral Mass a reception will be held at the Club D'Age D'or in Pré-d'enHaut. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Pré-d'en-Haut.
